Invitation to the Presentation of Volumes 12 & 13

The Editorial Board of Environtropica, the most authentic Journal of the Tropical Environment cordially invites you to the Presentation of Volumes 12 & 13 of the Journal. This event will mark the 12th Anniversary of the presentation of the maiden issues of this journal which held in 2004 at the Ministry of Environment in Abuja.

In 12 years, Environtropica published 13 volumes which contains 1,331 pages of publication of original research articles from different parts the world. This event is a celebration of the modest significant contribution to knowledge in tropical environmental research since inception.

All published papers since inception are available on this website, http://www.environtropica.com. Hard copies of old and current volumes will be available at this event. The details of this landmark event is as follows:

Date: Wednesday November 30, 2016.
Venue: BOOC Lecture Theatre, Biological Sciences, OAU, Ile-Ife.
Time: 12 noon.
Chairman: Aare Afe Babalola SAN, Founder, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD).

About Us

The primary focus of Environtropica is the tropical environment, either in its natural state or in its exploited form. Manuscripts submitted for consideration in the journal must be devoted to the presentation and discussion of original research or to significant review and interpretative articles.

In the Beginning

The maiden issues (Volumes 1 & 2) of Environtropica were launched in Abuja on Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at the main auditorium of the Ministry of Environment in Abuja, by the then Honourable Minister for Environment, Colonel Bala Mande (rtd.) who was ably represented by a Director in the Ministry, Prof. Dapo Afolabi.
